Sometimes a front entry just needs a little structure and some fresh plants to pull everything together. That's exactly what we were working with here - defined stone-bordered beds that had the bones of something great, but needed new shrubs, clean mulch, and some attention to detail to actually look the part.

We planted a mix of rounded evergreen shrubs spaced evenly across the beds to keep things balanced and tidy. Nothing overdone. Just clean lines, well-placed plants, and fresh dark mulch laid throughout each bed to tie it all together. The contrast between that deep black mulch and the stone borders is what gives it that finished, intentional look.

The existing planter with the flowering shrub near the entry was already a nice focal point - we made sure everything we added complemented it rather than competed with it. That's the kind of thing that separates a thoughtful plant layout from just filling space with greenery.

Here's the thing about small garden makeovers - they tend to have an outsized impact on how a home feels from the street. The entry is what people see first. When the beds look neat and the plants are healthy, the whole front of the house reads as well cared for. It doesn't have to be a massive project to make a real difference.

If your beds are looking a little rough around the edges - sparse plants, tired mulch, no real definition - that's exactly the kind of work we do. No job is too small.
