Some homeowners have a clear picture in their head of what they want their yard to look like. They just need the right crew to execute it. That's exactly what we were working with here - a homeowner who had a vision for their front beds and wanted it done right.
We started by laying out a thoughtful planting plan across the full front bed. Upright evergreen shrubs were spaced along the walkway to create vertical structure and draw the eye toward the entrance. Round, compact shrubs were tucked in along the foundation to fill out the lower layer. Low-growing ground cover plants were planted in the foreground to soften the front edge and add some texture at ground level. Every plant had a purpose and a place.
Once the planting was set, we topped the entire bed with a fresh layer of dark mulch. That deep, rich color does a lot of work - it makes the greenery pop, gives the bed a clean finished look, and helps retain moisture going into the cooler months. It's one of those details that ties everything together the moment you pull into the driveway.
What we ended up with is a front yard that feels intentional. Layered. Put together. The kind of curb appeal that you notice right away but can't quite put your finger on why - and that's the goal. Good landscaping shouldn't look like it's trying too hard. It should just feel right.
Planting, mulching, and bed layout are some of our most requested services for a reason. When the bones of your front yard are solid, everything else falls into place. If your beds have been looking a little bare or just need a fresh start, this is the kind of work we do every day.
